Czech deputy FM meets Palestinian delegation

Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Schneider met here today with head of an official Palestinian delegation led by Palestinian Foreign Undersecretary Tayseer Jaradat as part of the Palestinian follow-up of the death of Palestinian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Jamal Al Jamal. Jaradat expressed appreciation to the Czech authorities for their full cooperation in the investigation into the incident in which the ambassador was killed and valued the high professionalism showed by the Czech security organs while dealing with the incident. The two sides agreed to cooperate actively and effectively to complete investigation into the case so that the incident would not affect relations between the Czech Republic and Palestine. The Palestinian ambassador to the Czech Republic died on January 1 after an explosion at his apartment in Prague. Al-Jamal, a veteran of Palestinian diplomacy, was moving a safe around the flat in the city's northern Suchdol neighbourhood, having only recently moved in.
