Dallas police search for suspect in series of sexual assaults

Dallas police said they have issued an arrest warrant for Van Dralan Dixson, the suspect in a series of sexual assaults. DNA evidence from one of the cases pointed to Dixson, investigators said. \"The results provided a positive DNA match for a suspect,\" police Maj. Jeff Cotner said. Authorities are working to locate the suspect, police told WFAA-TV, Dallas/Fort Worth. The warrant lists charges of aggravated sexual assault, and bond for Dixson is listed at $1 million. Dixson has been previously convicted of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, evading arrest and resisting arrest, WFAA-TV reported. Alan Mason, who had been questioned about the assaults, remained in jail on unrelated charges, the report said.
