Have the Delhi gang-rape protests set off a travel scare among foreign tourists? Both the United States and United Kingdom have reviewed their travel advisories asking their citizens to avoid central Delhi and monitor news to avoid demonstrations, Times of India reported. The advisories were revised on December 29 following the death of the rape victim in Singapore. While the travel industry has not reported any cancellations, the spontaneous protests and clamping down of movement in central Delhi has set off several anxious calls from tourists to the India tourism offices across the globe. Sources said that there had been several queries, from UK, US and Australia, regarding travel to India. In its advisory US state department has said, \"Even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn violent. Please stay current with media coverage of local events, be aware of your surroundings, and practice personal security
