A meeting was held Friday evening at Bkirky under patronage of Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Beshara Rahi, between head of Kataeb Party, Amine Gemayel, head of Change and Reform Bloc, MP Michel Aoun, and head of Marada Party, MP Sleiman Frangieh, whereby they discussed national issues and need for a fair electoral law. Head of Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea, was absent from the meeting due to security reasons. A statement issued following the meeting said that talks focused on domestic and regional issues, especially in Syria with its repercussions on Lebanon. "Deliberations also tackled parliamentary electoral law, whereby all agreed on need to reach a law that provides best fair representation for all Lebanese sects."
