Demonstration calling for departure of grand sheikh of al Azhar

A number of pro-Morsi supporters and some scholars of Al Azhar Ash-Sharif, in their official uniform on Thursday demonstrated before Al Azhar Sheikhdom , refusing the military coup , a reference to gen. Abdul Fattah Al Sisi who ousted legitimate President Mohamed Morsi on July 3 and called for the departure of the Grand Sheikh of Al Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al Tayyeb. The demonstrators raised photos of ousted President Morsi and banners against Al Sisi while others denouncing the stand of Sheikh Al Tayyeb who supported the military coup. They angrily said,” Go our Sheikh , Morsi is our president and with soul and blood , we sacrifice for Islam”.
