Destroyer commissioned for China Sea fleet

A destroyer was commissioned for the East China Sea fleet of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy on Thursday. The warship Zhengzhou belongs to the new generation of Chinese-made guided missile destroyers. Equipped with Chinese-made "new weapons," it has strong capacity for long-distance warning and surveillance and regional air defense. The ship, with hull number 151, is 155 meters long and 17 meters wide. It has a displacement of more than 6,000 tonnes.
