Units from the Internal Security Forces, backed by seven Lebanese army personnel carriers, resumed the destruction of cannabis crops in the axis of Dier al Ahmer-Laymoneh in Baalbek. Agriculture tractors destroyed 12 acres of cannabis amid calm and normal atmosphere in Dier al Ahmer. Officials in the town said that the situation is very normal and the security forces resumed the destruction of cannabis. But these officials warned that the farmers and residents will resume planting cannabis and block roads if the alternatives did not become available.
