The Dhehiba-Wazen border crossing re-opened, on Thursday, from the Tunisian side. About 150 Tunisian nationals and 6 Libyans crossed, on Wednesday, the border in both directions indicates a security source in the region. Some Libyan expatriates spread the rumour according to which clashes burst out between the rebel groups in several parts of the El-Jebel Gharbi region. The Dhehiba-Wazen border post had been closed for several days following the incursion by a group of rebels into the Tunisian territory and the attack on a Tunisian customs agent in this post. The local people called on the Libyan authorities to re-take control of the border crossing on the Libyan side.
