Three men were transferred to a hospital after a dispute escalated into gunfire in Beirut’s southern suburb a few days ago, a source said in remarks published Friday. “Brothers Shadi, Mahdi and Ahmad al-Khalil were transferred to Al-Rasoul al-Azam Hospital after being shot during a dispute with Chams family members a few days ago,” the source told An-Nahar newspaper. He also said that the dispute erupted after a member of the Chams family put a container on land that the Al-Khalil family “controls.” The source added that Hezbollah members cordoned off the area and ended the clash. “An Internal Security Forces patrol arrived to the area and along with the help of Hezbollah members moved the container to Ouzai. None of those involved in the gunfire were arrested,” the source added.
