Doha hosts Arab Parliamentary Union\'s executive committee

Speaker of the Advisory Council HE Mohamed Bin Mubarak Al Kholaifi who is aso speaker of the arab parliamentary union (APU) is to open tomorrow, Tuesday , activities of the 9th APU executive committee . Arab parliamentary delegations from the APU member states are to attend the two-day meeting. The participants are to discuss items on the agenda including implementing the resolutions adopted by the 17th conference of the APU held in Doha last February , the APU''s regional and international activities , its relations with each of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the African Union and preparations for the 18th conference slated for Kuwait . The APU delegates are to discuss as well the IPU''s strategy draft of the years 2012-2017 and coordinating the arab countries'stands concerning them.
