
Tens of Palestinian citizens participated yesterday in a popular march in the Martyrs’ Square in Nablus in solidarity with the besieged Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria, expressing their pain for the residents of the camp who suffered from starvation, killings and siege for more than 200 days.Participants in the march, which was called for by independent youth group, ignited candles and lanterns and shouted slogans calling for lifting the siege on the camp and allowing international relief organizations to deliver food and medical supplies to the people.The marchers demanded the international community and the Red Cross institutions to lift the siege on the Yarmouk camp, protect people and prevent them from further suffering.
