Dr Mirza receives Sheikh Isa bin Ali al-Khalifa

Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza today received Down Town Company Chairman, Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister welcomed Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, stressing the keenness on the part of Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) on extending bridges of cooperation with local firms. The two sides reviewed actions which had been taken by EWA in order to curb disruptions throughout the summertime this year plus ongoing plans and projects implemented by EWA to boost the most optimal services to citizens. The Minister accentuated his intention to include national companies in EWA developmental projects as major partner in the Kingdom of Bahrain\'s construction and development march. The CEO of Down Town Company briefed the Minister on the company\'s latest plans and projects. Also, Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa applauded remarkable improvement in electricity and water services and also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister and EWA officials for their persistent efforts in boosting communications with various companies in order to develop the electricity and water sector in the Kingdom.
