Dr Salahuddin: Re-nomination for presidency issue determined by constitution

Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the National Congress, Dr. Ghazi Salahuddin, said that the re-nomination of President Al-Bashir for presidency was already determined by the Constitution which stipulated giving only two presidency terms for the president. He said that this issue is not set for discussion at these meetings, explaining that the National Congress deputies can discuss this issue from the perspective of their affiliation to the party, but not via their belonging to the Sudanese people. Dr. Salahuddin said that he does not support any step that does not comply with the Constitution.
