The ‘GCC Fatal and Horrific Accidents Prevention Conference’ will be held on September 18-19, 2012 in Dubai. This event aims to lay emphasis on the road safety measures and their appropriateness and effectiveness in Accident Prevention whilst promoting the need to apply a multi-dimensional approach to this social problem –by the effective introspection of the factors that cause several road mishaps and other fatal and horrific accidents- to develop regional infrastructural and traffic excellence. The two-day conference congregates various GCC Government representatives, Policy makers, and Traffic Department Officials to address the various challenges, issues, and opportunities in setting up an international network for devising road sector policies beneficial for the future development and progress of the region by evaluating the various parameters of traffic regulation that can capitulate a quality commutation system for the citizens. ‘In the endeavor to formulate a culture of Road Traffic Safety in the UAE, the implementation of the latest and modern strategies in the traffic regulation becomes the primary concern of the traffic administrators, owing to the accelerating growth of fatal accidents and road mishaps that have endangered the human lives that succumb to it.
