Ambassador of the Netherlands in Amman, Paul van den IJssel, on Tuesday, underscored Jordan's diplomatic efforts in the region and the world and said the Kingdom "always seeks to be part of the solution and not the problem".
Speaking at a press conference on the eve of the King of the Netherlands' Day, the ambassador said Jordan and his country have common interests in resolving the Syrian crisis and fighting terrorism and extremism.
He emphasized the need for launching more Dutch investments in Jordan, increasing trade exchange and facilitating the entry of Jordanian exports to European countries. The ambassador voiced his country's support of simplifying rules of origin for Jordanian goods according to what has been agreed in the London donors conference held earlier this year.
He spoke about a number of areas where the two countries expand economic cooperation and they include the fields of energy, chemicals, consumer products and foodstuffs.
