The Dutch government announced Tuesday Prime Minister Mark Rutte would visit Indonesia on Nov. 20-22. Rutte will hold talks with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President Boediono on the political and economic ties between the two countries. Key ministers and a trade delegation of 15 CEOs and businessmen from more than 100 Dutch companies will join the trip. The Netherlands and Indonesia, which was a Dutch colony, have traditionally strong ties. The Netherlands is now Indonesia's second largest trading partner within Europe. Two-way trade amounted to about 3.5 billion euros (4.7 billion U.S. dollars) in 2012.
