
Egyptian Foreign Minster Nabil Fahmy discussed today in a phone call with his German counterpart Guido Westerwelle the latest developments in Egypt. During the conversation, Fahmi briefed his German counterpart on the developments that followed the formation of Egypt’s interim government and the presidential decree on forming a legal committee of experts to amend the 2012 constitution. He also stressed the goverment’s committement to the implementation of the roadmap, which was approved by Egyptian political powers in accordance to time frames articulated in the constitutional proclamation. For his part, the German Ministe expressed hope for a successful transition in Egypt.
