
Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmi held a meeting on Tuesday with China's Special Envoy to the Middle East Wu Sike, according to a spokesman for the foreign ministry in Cairo. The meeting took up means of boosting joint cooperation along with other issues of common concern, said Badr Abdel-Atti. During the meeting, Sike expressed his country's satisfaction with Egypt's draft constitution. He said that his country is supporting Egyptian people's choices as well as the transitional period. Abdel-Atti said that the Chinese envoy also welcomed the Egyptian top diplomat's planned visit to China in mid-December within an Asian tour.
