Egyptian FM to visit Moscow on December 20-22

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Kamel Mohammed will make an official visit to Russia on December 20 to 22, during which he will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Friday. “Russia cherishes the traditional friendship and relations of friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Egypt, these relations are especially significant today, as there are complex changes in Egypt that are designed to take into account the sentiments and aspirations of all Egyptians,” Lukashevich said. The parties will discuss the situation in the Middle East, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iran’s nuclear program and the issues of bilateral cooperation. A plan of ministerial consultation in the coming year is planned to be signed.
