Egyptian governors\' council meeting discusses security situation

The Governors\' Council on Thursday held a meeting under Prime Minister Hisham Qandil to discuss several topics, topped by the security situation across Egypt, especially in the Suez Canal cities. The council also reviewed efforts of the investment ministry to promote projects in governorates and to remove hindrances facing their implementation. The meeting also discussed the latest developments of projects needed to meet the needs of the citizens. It touched on the project of developing Suez Canal axis and the measures taken by the concerned authorities to remove any encroachments on the agriculture lands.
