
Egypt's interim President Adly Mansour casted his vote on the constitutional referendum Tuesday at Masr El-Gedida (Heliopolis) area, east of Cairo.Egyptian authorities deployed security personnel at voting centers to safeguard the citizens, said Prime Minister Hazem Al-Beblawi, adding that he expected a huge turnout in the first day of the voting process.The Middle East News Agency (MENA) said that Al-Beblawi had also casted his vote today in a high school eastern Cairo, where voters stood in long lines waiting for their turn to vote.Al-Beblawi praised the efforts of judges and those in charge of running the event, calling on every citizen to participate in the process. Egypt's police and army had spread across all voting centers early this morning, providing security for citizens and organizers.
