Egyptian President Morsi to visit India and Pakistan

Egyptian President Dr. Mohamed Morsi is to a three-day asian state tour on March 03 , diplomatic sources announced here Tuesday. During his visit to New Delhi , President Morsi will have talks with the officials concerned there on revitalizing bilateral relations and boosting joint consultations vis-a-vis a bulk of joint issues of mutual concern with a special emphasis on terror combating , the current situation in Syria and the Middle East peace process. A number of agreements relating to the social development fund , the Indian organs related to small and medium projects development are expected to be also signed during the visit, said the sources. Other agreements on communication and information technology (IT) will be also struck between the two sides with the Egyptian side proposing a set of projects to revitalize joint cooperation in oil and gas in future, the same sources added. While in Islamabad, dr. Morsi will have talks focussing on a set of issues of mutual concern and potentials of cementing economic and media bilateral relations.
