Egypt\'s newly appointed 10 ministers took their oath Sunday before President Mohamed Morsi and are currently in a meeting with the Egyptian leader. Present at the ceremony, which took place in the presidential palace, was Prime Minister Hisham Qandil. Sources told Al-Ahram\'s Arabic language news website that Morsi and his new officials are currently discussing means of enhancing the economy and tourism as well as how to tackle unemployment and to attract foriegn investments. News of the Cabinet reshuffle came Saturday, where 10 out of 35 ministers were changed. The ministries that witnessed change at the top are the ministries of interior, finance, supply and interior trade, communication and information technology, transportation, electricity and energy, local development, civil aviation, environmental affairs and the Ministry of State for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs. Qandil\'s four-month old Cabinet was formed last August. Late last month, Morsi commissioned Qandil to instigate the necessary ministerial changes after the government faced severe criticism for the deterioration of the political and economic situation in the country.
