Egypt\'s Shura Council discusses bill on exercising political rights

Egypt\'s Shura Council continued Monday debating the legislative committee\' report on exercising political rights and approved a number of articles within the bill. The session witnessed heated arguments over article ten of the bill which bans the use of religious propaganda in elections. Replying to one of the lawmakers who criticized the slogan of Muslim Brotherhood (MB)\'s \"Islam is the Solution\", Sobhi Saleh, a leading MB\'s lawmaker and member of the council\'s legislative committee, stressed that this article doesn\'t apply on this slogan citing 68 judicial rulings in this regard. The debates would be resumed on Tuesday.
