The second and third in command of El-Nour Party are appointed as party readies itself for upcoming national polls The Salafist El-Nour Party\'s High Board appointed Wednesday two deputies to assist party chairman Yousef Makhioun. Sayed Mustafa Khalifa was appointed as first deputy and Bassam El-Zarqa was appointed as second deputy. The High Board also appointed Galal Mora as the party\'s secretary general, Ashraf Thabet as head of its planning committee, Nader Bakkar as deputy chairman for media affairs, and Talaat Marzouq as deputy chairman for legal affairs. El-Nour Party was previously led by Emad Abdel-Ghafour, who represented the party\'s \"reformist\" camp. Abdel-Ghafour quit the party in late December following a dispute with followers of Yasser El-Borhami. He currently heads up the newly-formed Salafist Al-Watan Party. Makhioun won the El-Nour Party chairmanship election uncontested in early January to become the new party head. From Ahramonline
