Ethiopian PM to visit Sudan on Tuesday

Ethiopia's Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn will start on Tuesday a two-day visit to Sudan to participate in meeting of the Sudanese-Ethiopian join ministerial committee. This was stated today by Emad Sid Ahmed, Press Secretary to SudanesaePresident Omar Hassan Al-Bashir. Meetings of the preparatory committees for these meetings at the level of experts will start today and will continue until tomorrow, Sid Ahmed said. The agenda of the upcoming summit between President Al-Bashir and Ethiopian Prime Minister will discuss the latest developments in the region, and will focus on aspects of political and economic cooperation, he added. He explained that during the Ethiopian Premier's visit, a number of agreement will be signed, and an electricity linkage project between the two countries will be launched.
