The EU Thursday announced that Fereydoun Mahmoudian, an Iranian businessman and his company Fulmen active in particular in the electrical equipment sector were removed from the sanctions list. The decision announced in the Official Journal of the EU today said "Fereydoun Mahmoudian and Fulmen are not included on the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures." The decision follows the judgment of 28 November of the Court of Justice of the European Union which ruled that Mahmoudian who resides in Tehran was wrongly associated with Iran's nuclear program and cleared him of all charges.
