EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton Tuesday expressed her happiness with the smooth second round of voting at the municipal elections in Kosovo on Sunday and congratulated the voters for their participation. "These elections are crucial for Kosovo's future and for the process of normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia," she said in a statement. Ashton announced that she will be meeting Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic together with his Kosovar counterpart Hashim Tha\\i in Brussels on Thursday for a new round of the dialogue. "We will discuss how to take forward the remaining implementation issues of the April Agreement," she added. The two prime ministers last April signed an agreement under Ashtons mediation to normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
