
Two NATO soldiers were killed following a roadside improvised explosive device in eastern Afghanistan on Sunday. NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) following a statement confirmed the incident and said that two International Security Assistance Force service members died following an improvised explosive device attack in eastern Afghanistan yesterday, according to Afghan (Khaama Press). The statement did not disclose further information regarding the exact location of the incident and nationalities of the deceased service members. International security Assistance Force (ISAF) generally do not disclose identities of the NATO soldiers killed in Afghanistan saying, \"It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.\" There has been a considerable reduction in NATO service members casualties in Afghanistan since Afghan national security forces have taken combat lead in major parts of the country. At least 129 NATO service members including 103 US troops, six British troops and 20 soldiers from the other NATO member states have been killed in Afghanistan since the beginning of 2013.
