
At least seven people were killed and more than 20 people injured in explosions taking place in areas across Pakistan Thursday. A bomb that targeted a police station Quetta city, capital of Baluchistan province, killed six people. Among the dead were a policeman and a child. Police said that the bomb, consisting of six kilos of explosives, was planted on a bicycle. Meanwhile in the city of Lahore, capital of Punjab province, one man was killed by an improvised explosive device (IED). The device was planted outside a restaurant in the city. Police said that 12 people were injured.
