Fahmy receives head of the Syrian opposition alliance

Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy held talks here on Tuesday with Head of the Syrian Opposition Alliance Ahmed al-Jerba, said Foreign Ministry spokesman. In press statements, he added that the two sides took up arrangements for the Geneva II conference on the Syrian crisis, that will be held in January next year. The two sides, added the spokesman, underlined the necessity of rendering the conference successful. They also asserted that a political will on part of all parties concerned is a must for guaranteeing the success of the conference, added the spokesman.
