In a statement by families of Talkalakh's martyrs and detainees issued Saturday evening, they assured that circulated news of canceling their sit-in scheduled for Sunday is inaccurate. The statement confirmed that the sit-in shall take place at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday in the area of Al-Arida, in protest against the "Baath Party" regime and its bloodshed; and additionally as a response to Syrian Ambassador for his directed criticism against media sources for covering Talkalakh families' activities in this respect, the statement indicated. Furthermore, the statement added that the sit-in is also intended to question the Lebanese government over reasons for its "careless attitude" towards Talkalakh detainees.
