Family House in Assiut condemns Khosous, Cathedral violence acts

Trustees council of the Egyptian Family House condemned the violent acts that took place in Khosous neighborhood of Qalyoubia as well as the assault on the funeral procession at the Coptic Cathedral in Abbassiya. Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House in Assiut said the council asserted that such incidents could flare up the blaze of sedition inside the Egyptian society among Muslims and Copts. The council urged for exercising self-restraint to prevent bloodletting and placing high the interests of the nation, warning of the serious consequences of such acts on the structure of the Egyptian society. It also urged the presidency and the security forces to have a firm grip on those who are trying to ignite sedition and prayed to God to preserve the nation.
