Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Muheisin said Wednesday that the new unity government will not be formed until Hamas permits the elections commission to update its registers in the Gaza Strip. Rebuffing comments by Hamas official Ahmad Yousef that President Mahmoud Abbas is preparing a list of cabinet ministers for approval, Muheisin said: \"The president does not have time to deal with service issues, irrelevant to the political issue.\" \"He accepted to head the unity government because it will be interim and with limited tasks,\" Muheisin told Ma’an. The Fatah official reiterated that the upcoming unity government will be a technocrat government, without attention to political affiliations.
