Fnaysh: Tehran, Lebanon enjoy close ties

Lebanese Minister of Administrative Reform Muhammad Fnaysh expressed satisfaction with his country\'s ties with the Islamic Iran and hoped the ties would remain strong. Fnaysh told IRNA that without the help of the Islamic Repulic, Lebanese nation could not defeat Israel during the 33-day war. He further quoted Hezbollah Leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as saying during his recent speech that the Lebanese resistance from 2000-2006 was fulfilled through Iran\'s assistance. Iran stood shoulder to shoulder with the Lebanese nation against the Zionists’ oppression, said Fnaysh.
