Foreign minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed attends dinner banquet

Thai Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul hosted a dinner banquet in honour of Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa on the sidelines of the Bahrain-Thai High Joint Commission meeting which started today. Shaikh Khalid hailed steadily-growing relations in all fields, lauding leaders in both countries for their keenness on promoting joint political and economic cooperation He reaffirmed Bahrain’s desire to bolster economic partnership and promote promising opportunities. The two-day session discussed bilateral cooperation in the presence of senior officials and representatives of key sectors. The commission stressed keenness on bolstering joint work in the sectors of energy, trade, commerce, food security and therapeutic tourism.
