
The fourth high-level forum on peace and security in Africa kicked off Saturday in Oran, which is located in northwestern side the capital.
Organized by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the forum sees the participation of Egypt and a host of other African countries and experts and representatives of UN and regional organizations.
In statements to MENA correspondent here, Egypt Ambassador to Algeria Omar Abu Aish said that Egypt is taking part in this forum due to its importance.
The forum is held regularly for the African countries to coordinate stances among them toward the various causes, he added.
The forum will tackle a host of issues related to peace and security in the African continent, he further said
