
French Foreign Minister Laurent Farbius condemned the suicide attack on the African peacekeeping force in northern Mali Saturday killing at least two servicemen. Fabius, in a press statement, strongly condemned the suicide attack that killed the attacker and at least two African peacekeepers part of the UN mission MINUSMA in the city of Kidal. France, he said, condemned this "cowardly" act which took place on the eve of the parliamentary elections in Mali. Fabius said France was ready to support MINUSMA which was working side-by-side of the Malian army to restore security nationwide.
