French Foreign Affairs Minister Laurent Fabius on Tuesday said to meet Ukraine's main opposition Vitaly Klitschko to discuss crisis in the country that prompted massive protests. Speaking to RFI radio, Fabius explained that "it's not up to us to interfere in domestic issues, but the other day we spoke with (Ukraine's President) Yanukovich and it seems normal to me to meet Mr. Klitschko as well, since Mrs. Tymoshenko (Ukrainian opposition figure and former prime minister) is in prison." But he did not give an accurate date of the planned meeting. The French top diplomat called all parties in the country to join the same table of dialogue. Ukraine plunged into chaos afer massive protests rocked the capital Kiev, with tens of thousands of people taking to the streets to protest against President Viktor Yanukovych's decision to suspend a trade pact with the European Union. Ukrainian authorities on Monday urged demonstrators to abide by the law during mass protests, promising to further the country's European Union (EU) integration efforts.
