France on Tuesday warned Syrian authorities not to use chemical weapons that could triggered a military response of the international community. \"Any use of chemical weapons by (Syrian President) Bashar al-Assad or officials under his orders would be unacceptable,\" Deputy Foreign Ministry spokesman Vincent Floreani said during a daily e-briefing. \"The leaders in Damascus must be made aware that the international community is watching them and will not stand by without a reaction if these weapons were to be used,\" he added. Aware that Syrian regime was possibly moving chemical weapons on military bases, France \"coordinate closely with (its) partners to prevent any use of such weapons, if the temptation was either by the Syrian regime or by others.\" On Monday, Syria government stressed it would not use chemical weapons, \"even if they existed,\" against its people under any circumstance.
