
France lauded on Wednesday a ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh region.
In statements today, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said that negotiations shall be continued under supervision of the Minsk Group.
The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994.
