France\'s Hollande mulls cabinet reshuffle as critics soar

Under pressure to reshuffle his team after tax fraud scandal, French President Francois Hollande on Tuesday said a government shift \"will come in time.\" \"One day choices and changes will have to be made. I need all of them (ministers)... (However), no body is protected in the government. No body has immunity,\" Hollande told the weekly magazine Paris Match. \"Today, it is the results that the French expect. This team must produce on unemployment, housing, consumption, the place in France in the world,\" he stressed. The president who pledged to achieve growth recovery over time warned his ministrial staff \"to be judged on its results.\" Already struggling to reverse a rise in unemployment and meet its economic targets, the government received a grave blow following the tax fraud scandal that forced the Budget Minister Jerome Cahuzac to quit office in mid March. Then, a majority of the French wanted Hollande to reshuffle his team, according to IFOP survey. The latest shift in the French cabinet came on June 21 when the Socialists won an absolute majority in the lower house of parliament in the last legislative elections.
