An informed source said 11 Iranians who had been taken hostage by a group called ‘ Syria Liberation Army’ have arrived in the province of Hatai in Turkey. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu had already announced that the hostages had been releasesd. The source said the released Iranians will be shortly delivered to Iranian officials. The Iranians were released with the efforts of Turkey. ‘Syria Liberation Army‘ is an opposition group in Syria fighting against the regime of President Bashar Assad. 7 Iranian engineers and 22 pilgrims have been kidnapped by the opposition groups in Syria during the past 2 months.
