The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the explosions that parts of Baghdad are hit with resulting in the killing and wounding of tens of people. In a statement issued on Thursday, Feb. 21, the French Foreign Ministry expressed solidarity with Ira\'s efforts in combating terrorism and overcome the political crisis; it also called on the leaders be able to unite in facing challenges. The statement renewed France\'s support to Iraq\'s political forces and the government in its efforts to achieve security and stability in Iraq. Last Sunday, seven car bombs and an improvised explosive device rocked parts of Baghdad killing 18 persons and wounding 90 others.
