French FM: France supports democracy in Egypt

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said on Tuesday that his country supports democracy and closely follows up latest political developments and economic situation in Egypt. Fabius made his remarks during a press conference held in Paris with visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr. Fabius said that Egypt is a great country and a regional power in the Middle East. He added that he discussed with Amr a number of bilateral issues of common interest.
