French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said Tuesday his country is committed to maintaining the status quo in Al Quds as a"city for all believers".
In a speech to the French parliament, Ayrault added that France's clear position on Al Quds did not and would not be changed.
France defends the freedom of access to the holy sites and the freedom of religion in Al Quds as a city for the core three monotheistic religions, he said.
