
H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today received the Ambassador of Federal Somalia, Abdulkadir Sheikhey Mohammed Al-Hatimi, and Iraq's Ambassador, Mowafak Mahdi Abboud. Sheikh Hamad welcomed the Ambassadors, commending the distinguished relations that bind the U.A.E. and the Republics of Iraq and Somalia, and expressing his wishes to promote cooperation in all social and economic fields. For their part, the Ambassadors extended their sincere thanks to the Ruler of Fujairah for his warm welcome and hospitality, praising the role of the Government of the Emirate of Fujairah in strengthening relations between their countries and the U.A.E. in various areas. Sheikh Hamad also received a number of Consuls-General: Essam Musalaha of Palestine, Hamdi Hasab Al Rasoul of the Republic of Sudan and Diab Farhan Al-Rashidi of Kuwait, who paid courtesy visits to H.H. Sheikh Hamad. The Ruler of Fujairah welcomed the Consuls-General of sisterly Arab Countries and wished them success in their mission, urging them to extend efforts in order to develop international relations between their countries and the U.A.E., thus to serve the peoples of the brotherly countries and promoting their relations at all levels. For their part, the Consuls-General extended thanks to Sheikh Hamad for the warm welcome they have received, stressing their willingness to fully exploit all available resources and energies to upgrade the brotherly relations between their countries and the U.A.E. and upgrade them to new horizons. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Fujairah Crown Prince Office and a number of senior officials.
