Foreign ministers of the Group of Seven nations on Sunday condemned terrorist attacks and agreed to lead global efforts to strengthen countermeasures on the first day of their talks in Hiroshima, Kyodo quoted the Japanese Foreign Ministry as saying.
The ministers from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and the United States have gathered in Hiroshima, one of the two Japanese cities devastated by US atomic bombings in 1945, to show solidarity in tackling nuclear disarmament, terrorism and maritime security in the South China Sea.
The Hiroshima meeting comes in the wake of deadly terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels.
