
Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and head of the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, has honoured the participating departments for organising a successful advertisement campaign to combat human trafficking at Dubai Airports in July. Organised by the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, Dubai Police General Headquarters and Dubai Airports, the campaign was aimed at creating public awareness, consolidating efforts of the country in dealing with the issue, and developing a partnership between the government and private sectors to combat human trafficking. Dr. Gargash said that the campaign has succeeded in achieving its desire goals, thanks to rallying various efforts in the country, which contributed effectively in combating human trafficking crimes. He added that the advertisement campaign highlighted U.A.E's thriving role to combat these crimes and uprooting them by all possible and available ways, in addition to spreading societal awareness on the dangers of this crime.
