Gargash receives German official

Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, has received here in Dubai at the sidelines of the \"Partnership for future investment in Syria\" Conference, Volkmar Wenzel, Personal Representative of the German Foreign Minister for the Arab world. The two sides discussed the bilateral relations and ways to boost them to serve the two friendly people. They also tackled the Syrian standoff and the latest developments in the Middle East. The German official expressed his appreciation about the wise and balanced policies of the UAE leadership at the regional and international levels, a stand that earns UAE world\'s respect and confidence. The UAE and Germany head the task group for reconstruction and rebuilding Syria\'s future economy so as to help next government to address economic, financial and social challenges. Khalid Ghanem Al Ghaith, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs, Faris Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Foreign Minister for Security and Military Affairs and Nikolai Von Schoepff, German Ambassador to UAE were present.
